Better Sprinting Mod 1.16.3/1.15.2: How to Run Faster in Minecraft

Minecraft Better Sprinting Mod is a Minecraft Mod that enhances the character’s running (Sprint) feature in the Minecraft world by assigning it a unique key. Better Sprinting Mod is just not compatible with mods that change the character’s behavior or the Controls menu (adding a new button that uses GameSettings, how the Controls menu works/displays… as they will break save settings). As we all know, the Sprinting system in Minecraft is not really complete and requires more work to be done on it. With Better Sprinting mod installed, you’ll find your sprints are faster than ever before!

How to install Better Sprinting Mod:

1. Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge.
2. Locate the minecraft application folder.
   • On windows open Run from the start menu, type %appdata% and click Run.
   • On mac open finder, hold down ALT and click Go then Library in the top menu bar. Open the folder Application Support and look for Minecraft.
3. Place the mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
4. When you launch Minecraft and click the mods button you should now see the mod is installed.

Server

1. Download and run Forge installer
2. Select Install server, don’t forget to change the installation folder, and click OK
3. Create a folder named mods in the server folder
4. Download Better Sprinting and place the file into the mods folder
5. Start the server by running forge-<version>.jar

Features

– Sprint key can be set to Tap or Hold mode
– Toggle keys for sprinting and sneaking
– Option to turn off double tapping W
– Option to sprint in all directions in singleplayer
– Configurable speed boost when flying in creative/spectator mode
– Option to continue flying when touching the ground

– To configure the mod, click the Better Sprinting button in Controls, or press the configuration key in-game (default: ‘O’)
– To configure update notifications in Minecraft 1.13/1.14, open the config folder (same location as the mods folder), and edit the bettersprinting-client.toml file in a text editor
